William’s Landing is just a Spectacular Property
This summer, on one of the many hot and sunny days at the cottage, a friend of mine, George Knowles and I boated over to see William’s Landing. George like myself is a seasoned die-hard cottager who has a family cottage on Lake Muskoka.
As we cruised by William’s Landing’s 3,000 feet of shoreline, George remarked that he thought that William’s Landing was just an incredible property. He couldn’t believe that there were only 18 cottages on the entire 47-acre site. Further, he was really impressed by the fact that each cottage had so much privacy. I reminded myself, that coming from Muskoka, George was used to seeing fractional ownership properties with much higher densities. Additionally most of these properties were more like full service resorts.
I was also reminded that Chandler Point Corporation has always had a somewhat tough time in trying to explain how amazing the William’s Landing property actually is.
An event called “Hike Haliburton” is organized each year in part to promote the natural beauty of the Haliburton Highlands. Shortly after reading about this I realized that we should have a “Hike William’s Landing Day” to show-off this very special property.
Walk or Hike the Trails at William’s Landing
William’s Landing has two picturesque trails right on the property. The first trail is about 1 km long and runs along the shore of Kashagawigamog Lake. In addition to being a great walking trail, it has perfect views of the lake. Additionally this lakefront trail connects the property’s four docks, campfire sites and beaches to each cottage.
The second trail is the Ina B. Baker trail. This trail winds through the woods at the back of the property. Starting at the tennis courts, the Baker Trail is a great work-out.
With these 2 trails at our disposal we invite you to “Hike William’s Landing” this Fall. That way you can get a first hand look at how incredible the property actually is.
