The Lake and Regional Attractions
Lake Kashagawigamog is situated in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands, a vast region of more than 600 pristine lakes and rivers stretching north to Algonquin
Park.
Kashagawigamog is the central lake in a five-lake chain that runs southwest from the town of Haliburton. Though a very popular lake for cottaging, most cottages are largely hidden from view by the mature forest of deciduous and conifer trees that grow right to the water’s edge. There are a number of beautiful sand beaches on the lake mixed with a rocky and rugged shoreline.
Kashagawigamog is one of the largest and most popular lakes in the Haliburton
Highlands. As part of a five-lake chain there is great boating with 68 kilometers of shoreline to explore!
The Haliburton Highlands is a true four-seasons playground. There are four golf courses within a 20-minute drive from William’s Landing. In winter, down-hill and x-country skiing is nearby and the Haliburton Highlands has miles of world-class snowmobiling. From William’s Landing, the Town of Haliburton is only 15 minutes away by either car or boat, offering a great variety of stores, restaurants and entertainment.
